Facing an intelligence that’s not natural…..

One of the most significant contributions of thenew digital era brought about by the fourth industrial revolution is the advent of artificial intelligence (AI). As more and more electronic gadgets are used  to improve people’s lives in every way, the data those devices collect allowsAI to access and analyze that data more easily.

AI is booming and proliferating across many, industries. It may take on tasks that require human intelligence and learn from human skills. Currently, it is being used in various industrial domains, including financial analysis, cars, robots, and smart cities. Additionally, it has been used in medicine and dentistry, including wearable technology, robotic and virtual assistants, decision support, precision and digital medicine, drug development, and medical and dental imaging diagnostics.

AI uses in the dental sector are still very new. However, robotic assistance, dental imaging diagnostics, caries detection, radiography and pathology, and computerized recordkeeping have all been impacted by the development of these technologies. It is, therefore, a helpful tool that dentists can use to lessen their burden and increase precision and accuracy in diagnosis, decision-making, treatment planning, outcome prediction, and illness prognosis.
